Episode 118 – What is your story?

“What’s your story…what are you gonna work on?”

“All the world’s a stage…”

Take a moment to think back to all of your most wonderful memories…

  • What were they?
  • What was happening in those wonderful times?
  • Who was there?
  • How did it feel to be amongst it all as it played out?
  • Were there any particular aromas or smells that you can recall?

Smile and bask in those memories. 🙂

Now, stop and remember the dramas, the suspense and the twists of your life.

  • How did they unfold?
  • What was the problem?
  • Who was to blame?
  • What went wrong? How come?

Take a breath… shrink and fade those memories to a black dot like you’re turned an old TV off.

You are the lead actor of your own life….on a hero’s journey.

And you will continue to go through many of these different stages and scenes of your life.

For that’s your story (so far)… and yes, more adventures await!

But often the best moments won’t come to you. You have to work them into your life.

You have to create and manifest them into your reality much like a movie director carefully selects each scene, script, costume, actor/actress and detail for each part of a movie.

They need to.

And when you’re creating your very own blockbuster movie, so should you!

(If you don’t someone will use you in theirs).

What’s your story?…

Read on below for two (2) key questions to start you off.

Let’s get to the storyboard, shall we?!

Here are two very important questions to help start you off:

1. If you stay in the same direction you’re on now, what story will you be creating in the near future? Are you happy with that direction?

  • What can you add to it to make it even better?

2. If you’re not happy, why not?

  • What changes do you need to make in your own script, costume, body language, persona or scenery in order to be successful in creating your new life?
  • What would your new character do, think and act like?

Draw out your new storyboard quickly, then call out lights, camera, ACTION!

Next thing you know, People will be asking you, “Hey, what’s your story?”

PS. And lastly, is your health, fitness, and mindset up to the challenge of supporting those new life adjustments?
